Route notes
Why this routing works
This is a simple two-stop Europe itinerary built as an open-jaw ticket: fly from Portland into Dublin, make your own overland connection to Amsterdam, then fly back to Portland from there. That structure works well when you want to avoid backtracking and keep both cities on one ticket.
With two weeks total, the sequencing is straightforward and gives room for time on the ground without adding extra flight segments. The overland section between Dublin and Amsterdam is the key planning element here, since that portion is not flown on the ticket and should be timed separately from the international sectors.
In economy class, this kind of multi-stop setup can be a practical way to price a short Europe trip while keeping arrival and departure points different. For April travel in the apr-jun season, the sold fare range on this routing was USD 760 to 991.
