Route notes
Why this routing works
This three-week itinerary is built around Bangkok as the connecting point for both Thailand and Japan. It opens with a 3-night stop in Bangkok, continues to a longer 10-night stay in Krabi, then returns to Bangkok for an overnight connection before the onward flight to Tokyo.
After 8 nights in Tokyo, the routing doubles back through Bangkok for a final 2-night stop before the long-haul return to Amsterdam. Using the same hub more than once keeps the sequence straightforward while allowing separate stays in southern Thailand, Japan, and Bangkok without breaking the trip into separate tickets.
In timing terms, the trip balances one extended beach stop in Krabi with shorter city stays in Bangkok and a longer stop in Tokyo. The repeated Bangkok segments also create clear connection points between the long-haul intercontinental flights and the shorter regional sectors.
