Route notes
Why this routing works
This itinerary is built as a short multi-stop loop: Anchorage out to Rome, continue from Naples, then return to Anchorage. The Rome-to-Naples segment is handled overland, which keeps the air ticket focused on the long-haul transatlantic sectors while leaving flexibility inside Italy.
For a two-week trip, the sequencing is straightforward and efficient. Arriving in Rome and departing from Naples avoids backtracking to the first arrival city, which can make better use of limited time than a simple round-trip in and out of one airport.
Ticketing is economy class throughout, with the route priced from USD 2,029 to USD 2,657. As an October departure within the October-to-December season window, this sample shows how an open-jaw structure can be used on a compact international itinerary without adding extra flight segments inside the same country.
