Route notes
Why this routing works
This itinerary is built as a continuous eastbound loop, leaving Atlanta for Europe first, then stepping through the Middle East and South Asia before continuing across East Asia into Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and the US West Coast on the way home. The sequence keeps the trip moving in one direction rather than backtracking across the same long-haul corridors.
Stop lengths vary between short city stays and longer base stops. Five nights each in London, Zagreb, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Queenstown keep the faster-moving segments manageable, while longer stays in New Delhi, Sydney, Nadi, and San Francisco create natural anchors across the 14 weeks. That pacing helps balance the number of flight sectors with enough time on the ground between major intercontinental legs.
Because every sector is flown, the ticket works as a true multi-stop air itinerary without surface gaps to coordinate separately. The route also uses Auckland after Queenstown to continue onward from New Zealand before crossing the Pacific to Fiji and then San Francisco, which keeps the final transoceanic stages aligned for the return to Atlanta.
