Route notes
Why this routing works
This 3-week routing starts and ends in Bangor, moving westward through INU, Majuro, Pohnpei, Koror, and Bandar Seri Begawan before returning to the USA. The sequence groups the Pacific island stops together first, then finishes in Brunei, which keeps the route organized as a single-direction multi-stop rather than breaking the island segment apart.
From a ticketing standpoint, this is a business-class multi-stop itinerary rather than a simple roundtrip. That matters on a route like this because the value is in combining several lesser-connected points on one ticket structure, with each stop fixed in order: Bangor, INU, Majuro, Pohnpei, Koror, Bandar Seri Begawan, then Bangor.
With only three weeks, timing is a central part of making this route workable. The stop order limits backtracking and puts the more remote Pacific segment into one continuous chain before the final Southeast Asia stop and the return home. November timing places the trip in the October-to-December travel window provided for this itinerary.
