Route notes
Why this routing works
This itinerary is built as a phased multi-stop ticket rather than a single continuous loop: Boston to Tokyo, then on to Perth and Melbourne, followed by a 101-night break back in Boston before a second outbound to Melbourne and a final sector from Paris to Boston. That structure makes the long stay at home part of the overall routing instead of requiring separate one-way tickets for each phase.
The sequencing uses a short 3-night stop in Tokyo before moving into longer stays in Australia: 11 nights in Perth, then 24 nights in Melbourne on the first pass, and another 11 nights in Melbourne later in the trip. Paris is placed near the end with 14 nights before the final return to Boston, which keeps the itinerary organized into clear regional blocks across Asia, Australasia, and Europe.
At 23 weeks in economy, this is a long-duration trip with substantial stop time built in rather than frequent quick transfers. The sold range for this routing was USD 5,129 to USD 6,715, and the December departure timing places the start of the itinerary in the Oct-Dec season window.
