Route notes
Why this routing works
This 5-week round-the-world itinerary starts in Chicago, crosses the Pacific to Nadi for a 4-night stop, then resumes in Singapore after an overland gap. From there, the ticket continues west through Siem Reap, New Delhi, Cairo, Athens, and Dubrovnik before returning to Chicago, keeping the route moving in one direction rather than backtracking.
The overland break between Nadi and Singapore creates flexibility in the middle of the ticket while preserving the larger westbound sequence. The remaining flights are grouped in a logical progression from Southeast Asia to South Asia, then on to North Africa and Southern Europe, which helps keep long-haul positioning straightforward within a single RTW framework.
Timing is fairly balanced across the later stops, with 3 nights in New Delhi, 4 in Cairo, and 5 nights each in Athens and Dubrovnik. That pacing gives the route a mix of shorter city stays and longer end-of-trip stops without interrupting the overall flow back to Chicago.
Priced from USD 6,969 to USD 9,123 in economy, this is a multi-region RTW ticket built around eight flight points including the return. For June departures in the apr-jun season window, the structure is best suited to travelers who want a broad intercontinental sequence with one planned surface sector.
