Why this routing works
This 67-week round-the-world ticket runs westbound from Chicago through Asia, then Africa, then Europe before closing the loop back to Chicago. The sequence keeps every sector flown, with no surface gaps, and links seven stop cities on one continuous itinerary.
The pacing is uneven by design, with longer stays early and mid-trip: 15 nights in Tokyo, 13 in Bangalore, and 38 in Nairobi. Bangkok works as a shorter stop between Northeast and South Asia, while Erevan, Belgrade, and Madrid break up the final stretch across Europe before the transatlantic return.
In ticketing terms, this is a true round-the-world structure rather than a simple out-and-back with side trips. Chicago appears only at the start and end, and the route avoids backtracking by continuing in one direction across three continents after leaving Asia.
