Route notes
Why this routing works
This round-the-world itinerary uses a westbound structure from Cleveland to San Francisco, then picks up again in Auckland after an overland segment. A second overland gap appears before Warsaw, which keeps the ticket focused on the long-haul framework while leaving space for independent surface travel between ticketed flight points.
From Warsaw, the routing becomes a tight intra-Europe sequence: Rome, Venice, Amsterdam, London, and Dublin, then back to Cleveland. Grouping the European flights at the end helps keep the long-haul sectors separated from the shorter regional hops, which is a practical fit for a 4-week total trip length.
In economy, this kind of build works best when the trip is paced around a few major flight anchors rather than too many long backtracks. The open segments also add flexibility, since not every movement has to be locked into the airfare. For June departure timing within the Apr-Jun season window, the route combines a transpacific start, two self-managed surface sections, and a final transatlantic return on one RTW framework.
