Route notes
Why this routing works
This two-week business-class round-the-world routing starts in Columbus, uses a short positioning stop in New York City, and then continues westbound via Los Angeles to Tokyo. Los Angeles and Istanbul are both structured as layovers rather than stopovers, which keeps the itinerary focused on longer stays in Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Milan, and Paris.
The stop sequence groups the longest on-the-ground time in Asia first: 4 nights in Tokyo, followed by 3 nights in Seoul and 3 nights in Singapore. From there, the routing continues into Europe with a same-day connection through Istanbul before a shorter 2-night stop in Milan and a final 1-night stop in Paris. That sequencing fits a compact RTW plan where the major long-haul sectors are front-loaded and the European segment is kept brief.
From a ticketing standpoint, this is a multi-stop RTW fare built around open progression rather than backtracking, moving from North America across Asia and onward to Europe. With only one-night stays in New York City and Paris, and zero-night layovers in Los Angeles and Istanbul, timing matters: this route works best when each connection is treated as part of a tightly sequenced overall ticket rather than as a collection of separate one-way flights.
