Route notes
Why this routing works
This route uses a simple eastbound round-the-world sequence: Dallas to Shanghai, on to Paris, then back to Dallas. With only two stops and a total trip length of about one week as provided, the structure is straightforward from a ticketing standpoint while still spanning Asia and Europe on one itinerary.
The stop pattern is uneven by design, with just 1 night in Shanghai and 11 nights in Paris. That makes Shanghai function more like a short break or planned positioning stop, while Paris carries the main stay. Keeping the Asia stop short can help maintain momentum across a long-haul sequence before settling into the longer European segment.
In business class, this kind of routing suits travelers prioritizing a smoother long-haul flow across multiple regions without adding extra stop complexity. July departure timing places the itinerary in the Jul-Sep travel season, and the routing returns to the original starting city, which aligns cleanly with the RTW structure shown here.
