Route notes
Why this routing works
This four-week multi-stop itinerary starts and ends in Denver and strings together IVL, Helsinki, and Puerto Vallarta with domestic connections in Dallas and Phoenix. The sequencing groups the longest international sectors early, followed by the return to North America and shorter onward flights before the final leg back to Denver.
With 14 nights in IVL and 11 nights in Helsinki, most of the trip time is concentrated in the two extended stops, leaving the remaining segments as transit points within the overall ticket structure. That balance makes the route more about locking in a specific order of travel than maximizing the number of stopovers.
As an economy itinerary in December, this routing works as a single coordinated multi-stop ticket rather than a series of separate one-way bookings. The path returns to the U.S. through Dallas before continuing to Puerto Vallarta, then uses Phoenix as the last connection point on the way back to Denver, keeping the trip on a clear outbound-and-return sequence.
