Route notes
Why this routing works
This 12-week round-the-world route is built as a steady westbound progression from North America into the South Pacific, across Asia, through the Middle East, and onward into Europe and North Africa before returning to Denver. The longest stays are front-loaded in New Zealand and Australia, with 12 nights in Auckland, 10 in Christchurch, 11 in Melbourne, 8 in Sydney, and 9 in Brisbane, which keeps the early part of the ticket relatively stable before shifting to shorter stops later in the trip.
After Cairns, the routing moves to Denpasar Bali, then uses an overland break into Singapore before continuing by air to Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong. That overland sector is an important ticketing feature here: it lets the trip connect Bali and Singapore without forcing an additional flight coupon, while still preserving the larger round-the-world flow onward through New Delhi, Dubai, and Amman.
From the Middle East, the itinerary continues into Malta, Morocco, and Ireland, which creates a clean final arc back toward North America. With 18 total stop points including departure and return, this is a complex economy itinerary that balances a high stop count with mostly moderate stays of 4 to 7 nights in the latter half of the trip. Departing in February places the whole route within a January-to-March travel window.
