Route notes
Why this routing works
This two-week routing uses an open-jaw structure in Japan: fly from Duluth into Osaka, make the Osaka-Tokyo segment overland, then fly home from Tokyo to Duluth. That sequencing keeps the trip moving in one direction and removes the need to return to the arrival city for the long-haul flight home.
With only two weeks, the overland segment between the Japan stops is the key planning element in the ticket structure. Booking the international flights into one city and out of another can be a practical way to fit multiple stops into a short itinerary while keeping the ground portion separate from the air ticket.
Because the trip is priced in economy and timed for November, this is a straightforward Pacific multi-stop built around one international arrival, one domestic overland transfer, and one international departure. The route is simple to operate, with just two flight sectors on the ticket and a clear split between air and ground travel.
