Route notes
Why this routing works
This six-week round-the-world itinerary starts in Helena, moves first into the Pacific with a long stop in Papeete, then continues through three Australian points in sequence: Hobart, Adelaide, and Perth. That westbound progression keeps the Australia segment organized as a single intra-region run before the itinerary breaks for an overland section in Ireland.
The route includes 17 nights in Papeete, followed by 8 nights in Hobart, 5 nights in Adelaide, and 4 nights in Perth. After Perth, the ticket resumes in Dublin as an overland arrival, which means the gap into Ireland is handled outside the flight ticket. The final flight sequence is short and clean: Dublin to Shannon, then Shannon back to the United States at Montrose.
From a ticketing perspective, this is a good example of combining a true round-the-world framework with one deliberate surface sector. That structure can help separate the long-haul flight chain from independent ground planning, while still keeping the main international routing on one economy itinerary. Departing in October, the trip falls in the October-to-December travel window and was sold in the $5,919 to $6,829 range.
