Route notes
Why this routing works
This 11-week itinerary runs eastbound from London to Bangkok, then uses a short Singapore stop before the long-haul move to Christchurch. From there, the ticket includes a surface sector to Auckland, creating an open-jaw within New Zealand instead of doubling back by air.
After Auckland, the routing continues across Australia with flights to Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. A second surface sector moves the trip onward to Cairns, with the ticket resuming from there back to Brisbane before the final Singapore stop and the return to London.
The sequencing keeps the longest intercontinental flights separated by shorter regional segments and uses Singapore twice as a practical connection point: once on the way into the South Pacific and again on the way back to the UK. In economy, that structure spreads the trip over multiple shorter hops rather than stacking long-haul sectors back to back.
