Route notes
Why this routing works
This four-week itinerary is built as a westbound multi-stop route from London through North America, across the South Pacific, and on to Australia before returning to London. The flown sequence is London to New York City, Los Angeles to Nadi, Sydney to Melbourne, and Melbourne to London, with separate overland segments between New York City and Los Angeles and between Nadi and Sydney.
Using overland gaps changes both pacing and ticket structure. Instead of flying every segment, the ticket keeps the long-haul pieces in place and leaves room to connect the U.S. East Coast to West Coast independently, then resume the itinerary from Los Angeles. The same structure appears again between Fiji and Australia, where the route pauses in Nadi before picking up the next flight from Sydney.
In economy class, this is a straightforward way to string together multiple regions within a single four-week plan while avoiding unnecessary backtracking. February departures place the route in the January to March season, and the sold price range for this itinerary runs from USD 3,423 to USD 4,481.
