Route notes
Why this routing works
This 11-week economy itinerary is built as a continuous eastbound loop from London across the Pacific and back through Asia. The longest stays are placed early, with 17 nights in San Jose and 11 in Honolulu before the routing continues to Auckland.
In New Zealand, the ticket uses an open-jaw between Auckland and Queenstown, with Queenstown reached overland rather than by air on the same ticket. The flown routing then resumes to Melbourne, followed by 7 nights there and 10 nights in Sydney before continuing to Brisbane.
A second surface sector connects Brisbane to Cairns, so Cairns is the next city reached overland before the final long-haul sequence through Singapore and back to London. That structure breaks Australia into multiple ticketed flight segments while leaving room for independent ground travel between the two Australian stops.
With 4 nights in Singapore near the end, the itinerary keeps the final return to London as a separate last leg after the Australia section. The overall sequencing links the Americas, Pacific, Australasia and Southeast Asia in one direction, avoiding a backtrack to New Zealand or Australia's southeast once the route moves north.
