Route notes
Why this routing works
This round-the-world routing uses Los Angeles as both origin and return point, with a short Europe stop, a longer stay in Madagascar, and a final transatlantic stop before coming home. The stop order keeps the trip moving in one direction: Los Angeles to Paris, onward to Antananarivo, then back through London to Los Angeles.
The timing is weighted toward the middle of the itinerary, with 16 nights in Antananarivo compared with 3 nights in Paris and 4 nights in London. That makes this route a practical fit for travelers who want to keep the city stopovers brief while giving the main destination a longer window.
As a 4-week economy ticket, this itinerary sits in the multi-stop sweet spot between a simple return and a more fragmented custom build. Pricing on this sold routing ranged from $2,475 to $3,775, with departure in September within the July to September season.
Ticketing-wise, the structure is straightforward: three stopovers plus the return to the starting city, all on a single RTW path. Keeping Paris first and London last also helps separate the long-haul sectors with shorter stays, rather than stacking the longest stopovers at both ends of the trip.
