Route notes
Why this routing works
This two-week multi-stop itinerary is built around an open segment in Croatia, flying into Dubrovnik and back out of Zagreb. That structure works well when the trip includes overland travel between those two cities, avoiding the need to backtrack and keeping the flight plan aligned with the surface portion of the route.
From Zagreb, the routing continues onward to Istanbul for a six-night stop before returning to the United States. Sequencing the trip this way keeps the European segment moving in one direction, then places the longest listed stay at the final international stop before the trip turns homeward.
The return is ticketed into Nashville and continues onward to Newark, which makes this a useful example of a multi-stop itinerary that combines an open-jaw in one country with a separate domestic continuation at the end. In business class, the overall route falls in the published range of USD 2,352 to USD 3,080 for travel in May.
