Route notes
Why this routing works
This four-week multi-stop ticket is built around one flown arrival into Bangkok, a surface sector onward to Ho Chi Minh City, and a final long-haul return to New York City. That structure keeps the trip linear rather than doubling back to Thailand for the flight home.
Using an overland segment between Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City separates the two Southeast Asia stops without adding another flight coupon. On the ticketing side, that creates an open-jaw between the inbound and outbound cities while still preserving a single outward leg and a single return leg.
With departure in February, the timing suits a compact month-long plan: one long-haul outbound, time on the ground across two stops, then one long-haul flight back to New York City. In business class, the longest sectors are concentrated at the beginning and end of the trip rather than spread across multiple connections.
