Route notes
Why this routing works
This 5-week round-the-world itinerary starts with a long Pacific crossing from San Francisco to Sydney, then uses an overland break to shift from Sydney to Auckland before resuming by air through Queenstown, Adelaide, Perth and Singapore. That opening sequence keeps the routing moving westward while combining shorter regional flights across Australia and New Zealand with a single long-haul start from the US.
A second overland segment separates Singapore and Mumbai, after which the ticket continues by air to Kochi, Dubai and Tel Aviv. From there, a third overland break moves the trip into Bologna before the final flight chain through London, Boston, New York City and back to San Francisco. Structuring the route this way allows three non-flight transitions without breaking the overall RTW flow.
The timing is paced around a few longer stays rather than many one-night stops, with 9 nights in Sydney, 9 nights in Perth, 7 nights in Dubai and 7 nights in Tel Aviv, plus shorter stays in Adelaide, Singapore, Boston and New York City. That makes this a complex but workable economy itinerary for travelers who want a high stop count within a fixed 5-week window.
Ticketing-wise, this is a true multi-continent economy RTW with 16 listed positions, including 3 overland sectors and 13 flown segments. The sold sample price range is USD 6,022 to USD 7,884, departing in January within the Jan-Mar season.
