Route notes
Why this routing works
This 4-week routing is built around two longer stays up front, with 11 nights in Manila followed by 15 nights in Changchun. That sequencing keeps the trip simple at the start: one transpacific departure from San Francisco, then a second flight onward within Asia before the final cluster of shorter segments on the way home.
The break between Changchun and Zhuhai is handled overland rather than by air, which is an efficient way to connect the northern and southern China portions of the itinerary without forcing another flight coupon into the ticket. From Zhuhai, the route resumes by air through Hong Kong and then on to Kaohsiung for a short 2-night stop before returning to San Francisco.
As ticketing goes, this is a true multi-stop itinerary rather than a round-the-world pattern, with all flights arranged in economy class and priced here at USD 5,503. July departure timing places the trip in the Jul-Sep season, and the structure is suited to travelers who want a few substantive stays combined with a compact final sequence back across the Pacific.
