Route notes
Why this routing works
This seven-week economy itinerary runs as a clean westbound loop from San Francisco to Singapore, onward through Kunming and Changchun, then south to Manila before the final return to San Francisco. The sequence keeps the routing linear across Asia rather than backtracking between the China stops.
Time is weighted toward the middle of the trip, with 24 nights in Changchun after shorter stays of 6 nights in Singapore and 8 nights in Kunming. Manila closes the route with another 8-night stop before the transpacific return, which helps separate the Asia segments from the final long-haul home.
As ticketing goes, this is a straightforward multi-stop structure with all sectors flown and no surface gaps to account for. That makes the plan easier to price and manage as one itinerary while still allowing four distinct stopovers across Southeast Asia, China, and the Philippines.
