Route notes
Why this routing works
This six-week round-the-world routing starts and ends in San Juan and moves westbound through North America and Asia before continuing to the Caucasus, Europe, and South America. The sequence is built around a steady progression of short stopovers early on, with a longer 11-night stay in Shanghai that creates a natural midpoint before the route continues onward.
Most stops are set at 3 to 4 nights, which keeps the ticket moving while still allowing time on the ground between long-haul sectors. Sacramento, Tokyo, Hanoi, Singapore, and Barcelona are all scheduled for 3 nights, while Vladivostok, Baku, and Santa Cruz each get 4 nights. That balance makes the itinerary relatively even, with Shanghai as the clear extended stop.
Because this is a business-class RTW ticket with nine stopovers, the main value is in combining multiple regions on one fare framework rather than piecing together separate long-haul tickets. August departure timing places the trip in the Jul-Sep travel window, and the routing closes with the long return from Bolivia back to San Juan after crossing Asia, Europe, and South America in one continuous loop.
