Route notes
Why this routing works
This itinerary uses a simple two-stop sequence from Seattle to Hong Kong, onward to Nelson, then back to Seattle. With 18 nights in Hong Kong and 17 nights in Nelson, the routing spreads five weeks across two substantial stops rather than adding more flight segments.
As a multi-stop ticket, this structure is useful for locking in the long-haul order in one booking: outbound from Seattle to Asia, onward to New Zealand, and a final transpacific return to Seattle. That keeps the trip linear and avoids backtracking between the two stop points.
Timing is straightforward here. A June departure fits a five-week plan cleanly, with most of the trip spent on the ground in the two stopover cities rather than in transit. In economy, this is a practical setup for travelers prioritizing a clear route and fixed stop lengths over additional destinations.
