Route notes
Why this routing works
This 13-week round-the-world routing starts in Seattle and moves west through Asia before returning to North America from Europe. The sequence is built around a long 100-night stay in Singapore, followed by a short flight to Bali, then an open segment into Ho Chi Minh City. That overland break gives flexibility between Indonesia and Vietnam without forcing a backtrack on the ticket.
From Vietnam, the route continues in a compact regional chain through Hanoi, Siem Reap, and Bangkok before stepping north to Kathmandu and then west to New Delhi and Dubai. Structuring these cities in that order keeps the itinerary moving in one general direction across Southeast Asia into South Asia and onward to the Middle East.
A second planned overland gap appears between Dubai and Istanbul, after which the ticket resumes for the final Europe-to-US sector via Frankfurt back to Seattle. Using two surface sectors can be a practical way to keep a round-the-world ticket aligned with a broader overland plan while still preserving the long-haul structure.
Priced from USD 8,544 to USD 11,185 in business class, this is a more complex RTW layout with multiple regions and 13 total stop points including origin and return. With a March departure in the Jan-Mar season, the route is set up for travelers who want a long-duration ticket with a mix of fixed flights and self-managed ground segments.
