Route notes
Why this routing works
This 8-week economy itinerary is built as a continuous multi-stop loop from Springfield, starting with a long stay in Tehran, then moving to Dubai and Kabul before returning to Dubai for a short positioning stop. That repeated Dubai segment is the key structural feature of the routing, linking the Iran and Afghanistan portions to the onward westbound move into Cairo.
From Cairo, the ticket continues east across BEN, Mumbai, Bangkok, Beijing, and Moscow before returning to Springfield. The middle of the trip mixes longer stays of 9 nights in BEN and 5 nights in Bangkok with shorter stops such as 2 nights in Mumbai, which helps keep the route moving while still allowing time on the ground in selected cities.
Because this is ticketed as a multi-stop itinerary rather than separate one-way flights, the order of cities matters: it connects several regions in a single direction of travel and avoids unnecessary backtracking apart from the intentional Dubai repeat. March departure timing places the trip inside the Jan-Mar season window provided, and the overall pacing spreads the longest stays toward the first half and middle of the route rather than stacking them all at the end.
