Route notes
Why this routing works
This nine-week business-class itinerary leaves Toronto for Taipei, then continues south through Chiang Rai and Bangkok before moving on to Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, and Penang. It finishes with a stop in Abu Dhabi before returning to Toronto, creating a single continuous eastbound-style loop rather than backtracking between regions.
The timing is weighted toward longer stays in Taipei and Bangkok, with mid-length stops in Chiang Rai and Kuala Lumpur and shorter stays across Langkawi, Penang, and Abu Dhabi. That pacing keeps the longest city stays earlier in the trip, then shifts into a tighter sequence of regional hops through Malaysia before the final long-haul journey home.
As ticketing goes, the route strings together multiple cities across Asia and the Middle East on one business-class itinerary, ending at the original departure point in Toronto. The stop order is efficient geographically, linking East Asia to mainland Southeast Asia, then Malaysia, and finally the Gulf before the transatlantic return.
