Route notes
Why this routing works
This round-the-world routing moves east from Toronto to Tokyo, then steps through Bangkok and Chennai before crossing to Istanbul and Madrid for the final transatlantic return to Toronto. The sequence keeps the trip progressing in one direction rather than doubling back between regions.
With six flown sectors across 12 weeks, the pacing leaves room for longer stays between major long-haul jumps. Tokyo and Bangkok break up the move across Asia before the routing continues into South Asia, then on to Turkey and Spain ahead of the final leg home.
Ticketed as an economy-class RTW, the itinerary links North America, East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia and Europe on one continuous fare structure. That setup is useful for locking in the long-haul framework first while keeping the city order fixed from departure through return.
