Route notes
Why this routing works
This two-week routing starts from Vancouver with a transatlantic stop in Reykjavik, then continues to Venice, followed by a short intra-Europe leg to Split, and returns to Vancouver. The sequence keeps the longest crossings at the beginning and end of the trip, with the European portion grouped together in the middle.
The itinerary includes four nights in Reykjavik, then an open-jaw transition into Venice marked as overland in the fare construction. That structure can be useful when the middle portion of the trip does not need to be flown on the same ticketed path, while still keeping the long-haul and final return segments connected in one multi-stop plan.
With travel in August and economy pricing from 1,557 to 2,375 USD, this is a straightforward summer multi-stop option across North America and Europe. The routing suits travelers who want a short overall duration, limited stop count, and a simple city-to-city sequence without backtracking.
