Route notes
Why this routing works
This 10-week RTW is sequenced as a westbound-style progression from the US into East Asia, down to Australia, then back into South Asia before continuing overland and by air through Central and Eastern Europe to Dublin and home. The stop pattern keeps the long-haul structure clear: West Palm Beach to Seoul, Taipei, KNO, and Perth, then a surface break before Colombo resumes the ticketed flying.
The two overland sectors are important to how this ticket is built. Perth to Colombo is handled outside the flight coupon sequence, as is the move from Erevan to Bucharest, which lets the itinerary connect separate regions without forcing unnecessary backtracking in the air. That structure is useful on longer RTW plans where some segments work better as independently arranged surface transfers.
Timing is spread across several medium stays rather than many one- or two-night stops, with 8 nights in Seoul, 6 in Taipei, 6 in KNO, 9 in Perth, 6 in Kathmandu, 6 in Tashkent, 3 in Erevan, and 5 in Dublin. That pacing reduces the number of flight days across a 10-week trip while still covering a broad geographic range.
Ticketing-wise, this is an economy RTW with open-jaw elements created by the overland sections. The flown route finishes with Bucharest, Kishinev, Dublin, and the return to West Palm Beach, giving the Europe segment a logical east-to-west flow before the transatlantic leg home.
