Hub and Connections
Primary hubs at Toronto Pearson (YYZ) and Vancouver (YVR). YYZ minimum connection time is 60 minutes domestic, 90 minutes international. YVR minimum connection is 75 minutes international. Montreal (YUL) serves as a secondary hub for European and North African routes. Star Alliance partner connections available at all hubs with shared check-in facilities.
Baggage
Bags check through to final destination on Star Alliance interline itineraries. Air Canada Rouge operates leisure routes with the same baggage agreements. Domestic-only Basic Economy fares include no checked bag. Oversized/overweight fees apply above 23kg in economy. Interline baggage agreements in place with all Star Alliance members and select SkyTeam/oneworld carriers.

Operational Issues
Winter weather at YYZ and YUL causes frequent delays December through March. De-icing queues can add 30-60 minutes. Summer thunderstorms at YYZ cause afternoon/evening delays June through August. Rouge seasonal routes reduce frequency or suspend entirely in winter.
