Hub and Connections
Dual hubs at Delhi (DEL) and Mumbai (BOM). Star Alliance member. Minimum connection time is 120 minutes at both DEL and BOM. Extensive domestic network combined with long-haul routes to US, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Under Tata Group ownership since 2022. Merger with Vistara completed, integrating Star Alliance domestic feed.
Baggage
Mix of piece and weight systems depending on route. US/Canada routes use piece concept (2x23kg economy). Other international routes may use weight concept. Full Star Alliance interline baggage. Terminal Notes
DEL: Terminal 3 for international and domestic. BOM: Terminal 2 (T2) for international. Air India lounges at DEL T3 and BOM T2. DEL T3 is modern and well-connected. Some domestic flights may depart from T1 at DEL, requiring terminal transfer. BOM T2 is a good terminal but road access can be congested.
