Hub and Connections
Dual hubs at Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) and Hanoi (HAN). Largest domestic carrier in Vietnam by market share. Domestic network covers all major Vietnamese cities (DAD, CXR, PQC, HPH, VDO, etc.). International routes to BKK, SIN, KUL, ICN, NRT, KIX, TPE, DEL, MUM. No alliance membership. Limited codeshare arrangements. Point-to-point network.
Baggage and Interline
No interline baggage agreements. Each flight is standalone. No checked bag on base fares. Bags must be purchased in advance for best rates. Weight-based pricing for checked bags. Pre-purchased baggage is significantly cheaper than airport pricing. Carry-on weight is strictly enforced at 7kg.
Terminal Notes
At SGN, domestic flights from Terminal 1, international from Terminal 2 (new). At HAN, operates from Terminal 1 (domestic) and Terminal 2 (international). SGN terminal connections between T1 and T2 require a shuttle or walk. VJ offers SkyBoss lounges at SGN and HAN for SkyBoss fare passengers. Airports in secondary Vietnamese cities can be basic with limited facilities.

Fleet is A320, A321, A321neo, A330. Rapidly expanding carrier. Known for promotional marketing stunts. SkyBoss fare class provides lounge access, priority boarding, and flexibility. Vietnam domestic flights can experience significant delays during typhoon season (Jul-Nov) and Tet holiday period.
