Route notes
Why this routing works
This itinerary builds a six-week sequence through Southeast Asia on a single multi-stop ticket, opening with Bangkok before moving south to Denpasar Bali, then turning north through Da Nang and Chiang Mai for the final stop before returning to Bozeman. The order avoids backtracking within the region and keeps the route moving in one continuous loop.
Timing is weighted toward the middle of the trip, with 7 nights in Bangkok, 21 nights in Denpasar Bali, 10 nights in Da Nang, and 7 nights in Chiang Mai. That longer stay in Bali creates a clear anchor point, while the shorter city pairs on either side keep the routing balanced across the full six weeks.
Because every segment is flown, the trip works as a straightforward multi-stop ticket rather than a plan built around surface sectors or open jaws. In economy, that makes the routing easy to follow: a transpacific departure from Bozeman, a run through four Southeast Asian stops, and a single return leg home at the end.
